Six years ago, he was recognized as the creator of a type of YouTube videos that revolve around expensive stunts. His main YouTube channel, "MrBeast", is the fifth-most-subscribed on the platform. Donaldson uploaded videos to YouTube when he was 13 using the pseudonym "MrBeast6000". His initial videos were a mixture of videos and Let's Plays that analyzed the wealth of other YouTubers. He became famous in the year 2017 after his "Counting to 100,000" video racked up tens to thousands of views in a matter of days. Donaldson brought in a few former classmates to assist him in managing the growing popularity of the brand after it was established. MrBeast is Donaldson's main YouTube channel. The channel reached 100 million users on July 28, 2022.
