 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. She was born to Jewish parents from the Soviet Union and started her career as a child actor after she relocated to the United States. She is most famous for her appearances in AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and then 2020 (since 2020 (from). Apart from her commercial appearances, she also appeared as a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction show Other Space (2015). She also had an actor in the NBC drama This Is Us 2016-2017. Vayntrub was also cast as Squirrelgirl in Marvel Rising in 2018 following her casting in the pilot television series for New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish and was born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents, who were just two years old, emigrated to America as refugees from antisemitism. They settled in West Hollywood. Due to the family's financial difficulties and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. She was kicked out of her sophomore year, and subsequently obtained the GED. Then she went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
